When I went to Las Vegas, I knew this was a place that I had to check out.  I had heard the stories, the fun, the history, the stars and celebs, so I was pretty pumped.

I'll tell you, the Stardust didn't dissapoint one bit.

They have 1,500 rooms and suites that are equally fantastic.   I checked out one of the suites, but stayed in one of their standard rooms.   There weren't that many differences to tell you the truth, other than size.   All of their rooms have TV and PPV movies, valet cleaning service and room service.   There's obviously internet access in the rooms, but Stardust just put in wireless internet throughout the whole facility, which is awesome!

After you relax in the room, you've got to check out the pools at Stardust.  They are the most gorgeous layouts in all of Las Vegas.   Their Terrace Pool has a sundeck and poolside bar, so you can grab a drink and float your stress away.   You're literally an elevator away from everything in the Stardust, including the pools.

The Villa pool is a great place for sunbathers, and there are suites right by the pool.

When you're done swimming you can head on over to the new 24-hour fitness center, which has every kind of equipment you can think of.  Weights, treadmills, you name it, they got it.   They really did a great job with this particular facility.

Ok, it's Las Vegas after all, so you want to hear about the food, right?  Of course you do.   And boy does the Stardust come through for dining.

The first place I hit was Tony Roma's.  I had heard about their ribs, and I know that they have been called "The Best Ribs in America", so I had to try it out for myself.  I can now confirm that they deserve that title.  Their Barbecued Ribs and Chicken were outstanding.   And their onion rings were so good, I got another order to take back to the room with me.   This is a must while you're at the Las Vegas Stardust.

If you're looking for "finer" dining, and want to get dressed up for the night, then go to William B's.   Their appetizers are fantastic, I barely got past them.   You can get escargot, clams casino, stuffed scampi or oysters Rockefeller, and wow they do not skimp on the portions.

Ready for some Entertainment?  Of course you are.   The Stardust Las Vegas has what you're looking for.  You can start out by going to the Havana Night Club - The Show.  They do 2 shows a night, and no show is the same.   They have 32 dancers, 8 singers, and 13 musicians.  It's an amazing Cuban-style celebration.

Also check out Rick Thomas' show.  He does magic tricks, plays with tigers, and his award winning show will have you spellbound.

The latest addition to the Stardust Hotel and Casino entertainment lineup is the world famous comedian George Carlin.  Everyone knows that this guy is hilarious and his shows have gotten better and better over the years.   He's there from November 17th until the 30th.  You won't want to miss this show.

Overall, I'd say that the Stardust Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas came through in a big way.  From comfy rooms, to great food and entertainment, they have something for everyone.
