The Las Vegas Stratosphere

Located just a short cabs ride from the Las Vegas Strip, the Las Vegas Stratosphere provides the perfect bird's eye view of Sin City. Soaring 1,149 feet above the city, the Stratosphere offers enjoyment for both the young and old.

Those seeking adventure, should head up to the Stratosphere Tower to enjoy one of the four greatest thrill rides on earth. Our favorite is the Big Shot. This ride catapults riders 1,081 feet into the air to experience forces as high as 4 G's. We promise you'll barely be able to feel your legs after this 30 second adventure. In addition to the Big Shot, the Tower also boasts Insanity (an octopus like arm that extends riders 64 feet over the edge of the tower spinning them at forces as high as 3 G's), the X-Scream (a train like ride that propels riders 27 feet over the edge of the tower, dangling them over the city and then sending them back the other direction using a teetor-tooter like system), and the High Roller (a tame 30 mph roller coaster that circles the entire tower giving riders an amazing view of Vegas). All four attractions can be experienced for under $30.

For those of you looking for a more relaxed experience, the Stratosphere also boasts the best panoramic view of Las Vegas from it's observation deck. The observation deck is also home to a lounge, restaurant, and even banquet and meetings rooms. At night, the Stratosphere plays host to a dancing light show that can be seen from the Vegas Strip.

The Fountains at The Bellagio

Partly whimsical, partly genius, The Fountains at The Bellagio are by and far one of the best Free Attractions in Las Vegas. Every day from 3 PM until Midnight, The Fountains at The Bellagio Spring to life in a dance choregraphed to everything from Sinatra to "One" from A Chorus Line. Each performance is a unique and spectacular mixture of water and music, complete with the perfect lighting. Enjoy this singular experience either in the afternoon or evening, and we assure you, you will not be disappointed.

The Fountains at The Bellagio are a world famous attraction, and can be seen Monday thru Friday every half hour between 3 PM and 8 PM, and every fifteen minutes between 8 PM and minute. On weekend, the show starts at noon.
