Mirage To Undergo Renovation

The Mirage Hotel & Casino to Undergo a Renovation

Hoping to regain it's position as the top hotel in Las Vegas, The Mirage Hotel and Casino is to undergo a renovation project to be completed by the summer of 2006. This renovation project will include the addition of several new restaurants, and a new Cirque du Soleil show based on The Beatles.

Mirage's president and COO, Scott Sibella hopes that the coming Mirage renovations will secure the legacy of his hotel for years to come. The following new restaurants and attractions are scheduled to open in late 2005 to mid 2006:

Stack Restaurant & Bar (which will replace Moongate)
Jet (A New Hip Nightclub)
Fin (A New High-end Contemporary Chinese Restaurant)
Japonois (A Chicago Transplant that Serves Extraordinary Asian Cuisine)

Plans are also underway to update The Mirage's Trademark Volcano.

Bally's Las Vegas Hotel & Casino

Bally's is one of my favorite hotel/casinos in Las Vegas. The rooms are cheap and the location is right in the heart of the Las Vegas Strip. The Bally's Steakhouse is one of the best in Vegas. The casino at Ballys is nothing to write home about, but I always seem to win money there. The other advantage is that you can walk over to Paris and take advantage of all of the amenities there, too.
